Starting this year, I decided to support a small church in Bangladesh.
It has a hospital and an orphanage.

The pictures sent from there are always pictures of children with lunch boxes, barracks in the back, and sometimes children in loose-fitting clothes that clearly don’t fit their body size. The state of the poor community is reflected in the image.

We often have birthday parties for children at Sunday School in Japan, but there is no birthday party at this children’s home. Many children do not know when they were born.

Poverty is a social evil. Poverty is not fortunate. Poverty robs children of their dreams

The believers who are fighting there want to get rid of poverty, so they grind themselves every day to carry out medical activities, go out to the city, provide lunch services, and buy hundreds of blankets. They will distribute it in the town.

Believing in the Bible’s words, “Blessed are poor,” these believers are desperately fighting to end poverty.
So what exactly is the happiness of the poor?

sharing both joy and sorrow

Bible says that the kingdom of God belongs to the poor.
Where they are comforted, where they are satisfied, where they are now sad but full of joy-that is the kingdom of God. It can be said that it is the rule of God and the work of God’s hand.

The kingdom of God is approaching. God approaches the poor.

That was the case with Jesus. He asked the poor and did not see them for their illness, but healed them immediately.

In contrast to the poor, the rich.
Rich people will be in trouble! You may also feel angry. I can’t enter the kingdom of God …
It’s okay, all you have to do is be poor.

The sample of the rich is Jesus.
Jesus had everything of rich, but he left them in heaven and became poor. He has become the same person as us.
This is what I am trying to say today, “Fortunately for the poor!”

When I started this work, not a few believers told me, “You will definitely fail.”
Certainly there is really little I can do. No, it’s better to say that i can do almost nothing.

However, there is no doubt that it is God’s desire for poverty to disappear from this society and for us to share, love, and support each other.
This desire of God will not disappear, and God will not fail.
